Mass produced Christmas cards 2017

Hey!

This is my last post on Christmas cards this year – I’m officially finished with 2017 Christmas cards production, yay!

For this series of cards I used my never-ending Christmas patterned paper from We Are Memory Keepers. It’s a 12×12 paper set and I had it for some 7 years now and it looks like it will last me another 7 :).

To prepare the cards’ backgrounds I cut stripes of patterned paper of varied widths and adhered them next to each other on a sheet of regular printer paper. After trimming the edges I cut the sheet in 6 equal parts. I rounded the corners of each part and added a strip of vellum, twine and heat embossed sentiment. Finally I adhered the entire piece to the card base using dimensional adhesive.

Initially I thought left side of the card looks a bit empty so I added thin stripes of gold metallic paper there. In the end though I decided to leave that side alone to draw more attention to the main piece.

Happy Christmas everyone!
