Bicycle birthday card

Hey!

Today I present you a card I made for a friend who is an avid cyclist. I created simple watercolour background, stamped a bicycle and added sentiment using Lawn Fawn’s Milo Alphabet stamp set, piece of washi tape and a white gel pen. Be careful when sticking washi tape on watercolour paper or other porous surface; I adhered it with some extra glue because it was peeling off easily. I embelished the card with some sequins and wood veneer stars and adhered it to a card base with a piece of patterned paper for background. Enjoy!

Two watercolour birthday cards for kids

Hey!

The cards I show you today were made for my friend’s children. The quality of the photos is not the best as I remembered to take them just before we left for the birthday party and had to use my smartphone…

Anyways, I am recently trying various water-colouring techniques with more or less success and here is the result.

To stamp the little critters I used on of my favourite stamps sets – Hero Art’s Happy Day Animals. The sentiment was stamped with Lawn Fawn’s Milo’s ABC’s set and balloons were hand-cut and cover with clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.

You are awesome / You’re a star

Hey!

I seem to make an awful lot of goodbye cards recently. Not all of them make it to the blog cause I keep forgetting to take a photo of them, but today I want to show you two cards made for my  work colleagues who recently finished their contracts and left the company.

For the first card I used a piece of navy patterned paper which I darkened on the edges. I used Adirondack’s metallic paint in pearl to create the splotches. I added any star-resembling embellishments I could think of: sequins, pearls, rhinestones, wood veneer and silver embossed stars. I love the effect!

For the second card I created a watercolour background using Distress Markers on watercolour paper. I stamped the bicycle, covered the frame with Glossy Accents and added a couple of sequins for some shine.

Happy new beginnings

Hey!

Today’s card was made a while ago but I didn’t have a chance to post it yet. It is a card for a friend, who recently moved to the other end of the world to start a whole new chapter in life. She took her dog with her, hence the little doggeh on the card :).

I stamped the sentiment using alphabet stamps and added some glitter on top. To create a background for the sentiment I used Distress Markers on watercolour paper. The embellishments I cut out mostly from patterned paper.
