Birthday card – Retrosketches #80

Hey!

Todays card was created using Retrosketches sketch #80. I love this sketch but for some reason it took me ages to decide on color scheme, stamps and papers I wanted to use. I’m still not convinced if I made the right choice but hey – it’s just a card.

Anyways, the sketch looks like this:

Let’s party

Hey!

We had a stretch of gorgeous, sunny days recently, very unusual thing for Ireland – hence card with happy colours. Enjoy!

Watercolour flowers

Hey!

Hope you had a nice Easter. It was unusually cold here but my parents came over to visit so I had great time anyway.

Recently I finally got a chance to try my new set of Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils. I have to say they are awesome. Loaded with colour and so easy to work with – I just stamped the flowers with black ink and coloured them in, then used a wet paintbrush to mix the colours together and create watercolour effect. I put some Stickles in the centres of flowers for some added bling 🙂

Card for a 65th birthday

Hey! This time a card I made on my friend’s request. She asked me to make a card  for her mother’s birthday, and here it is. The sentiment says “on your birthday” in Polish.
