This year I started with Christmas cards quite early, trying to settle on design for mass production. I haven’t found that one perfect design yet but I have two cards that I made in the process.
For the first one I took kraft base and used gold ink, dabbing it over a stencil to create the background. Then I added splotches of whit acrylic paint. I used pieces of patterned paper and vellum as a background for sentiment stamp and finished the card with some stars, rhinestones and natural twine.
Second card is a bit more patterned paper heavy. I cut out 3 narrow strips of paper and rounded their corners before adhering them to the kraft card base. I used a shiny deer from my ancient Christmas supplies stash and a ribbon of similarly unknown origin.
